I'm a step-father now providing babysitting for three grandsons. Man, I'm lost. I'm disabled and, frankly, don't feel I have any authority unless I resort to grizzly bear tactics. I act more like a kid myself. Plus I want to hit the booze when I get home and I'm not 'sposed to drink.drink. This prohibition has become an intense flashpoint for me. I want to get blasted at the end of the day. I'm all over the place psychologically. Ironically the kids and the dog like me but I feel completely inadequate and dread something happening that will be my fault whether it is or not. Any advice? cockeyed.

3 grandsons - wow! What ages?
Kids and dogs for that matter don't like anyone without good reason. So I think that you must be doing something right.

I am going to be a step grandma in a couple of weeks. I am looking so forward to it! :)
