I just finished both "Bloodsucking Fiends" and "You Suck, A Love Story" by Christopher Moore. Both are -- well, one of the blurbs on the back cover said something like, "Moore is a very sick man -- and I mean that in the best possible way." I agree, that about sums it up. Both books are great if you want to laugh aloud, helplessly, while reading. The danger, and I think they should have a warning label for this reason, is that you may laugh aloud in public, without the ability to control it.
If you're brave, though -- these are silly, enjoyable, knee-weakening, comic novels. I adored them both.

Christopher Moore has looked upon my soul and pronounced it edible. Or consumable. Like potato chips, only betterer.
What I like is that *everybody* gets the chance to be offended in his books - he's an equal opportunity guy. It's great! His writing has made me Guffaw, which was something I thought only comic books could do. It's quite therapeutic.
