I just finished "Mary Poppins," and thought I'd take a moment to recommend it to the other Children's Book Afficionados on this board...
Otherwise, it seems that someone out there has started pushing Edward Eager again. I'm quite thrilled to have found two new ones from him: "The Well-Wishers," and "The Time Garden." If you haven't experienced his magic yet, I'd suggest starting with "Half Magic." It's delightful and delicious.
