Does anybody know what U.S. book clubs are charging these days for shipping? There's some $2 bargains at the "BEHAVIOR SCIENCE BOOK CLUB" that's advertised in Psychology Today, but it doesn't say what the shipping rates are.
When I belonged to Paperback Book Club 15 years ago it was like $4 a book. I know the CD club (which was part of Book of the Month Club) I was in 8 years ago added about $5 on EACH CD. (Which is really funny considering Netflix mails DVDs for 39˘ each.)
Anyway, I want to join BHSB just to get the $2 intro bargains, but if they add, like, $8 each for shipping, forget it. Anybody know?

Shipping on the first special offer order, the one wiht three books for 1.99 each, is $14.99.
Afterwards, for each purchase, it's apparently $6.50 per book.
Here's their website, which sets this out:

Racer, you helpful genius! Thank you!
I looked all over for a BSBC site and never turned up anything. Nothing! If it wasn't for their prominent ad, I would've thought they were a fly-by-night outfit.
The $6.50 shipping pretty much knocks out the savings on the additional books, but I'd only have to buy 2 in a year, so it could be worth it.
Thank you so very much. I wonder why I couldn't Google *anything* about this. Greatly appreciated.
