John Lescroart mysteries?

Posted by Racer on February 26, 2006, at 23:10:59

I've read a lot of them, and like the characters. Has anyone else?

Right now, I'm reading "The Motive," which is the latest Costco had, and isn't it sad I get so many books there? Others are "Dead Irish," "The Oath," "The First Law," "The Second Chair," "Guilt," "The Mercy Rule," "A Certain Justice," and there are a bunch of others. A quick search on Amazon will show them, no doubt.

Mind you, I like them at least in part because there's a fair amount about a bar called The Little Shamrock in San Francisco, where the books are all set. There really is a bar in San Francisco called The Little Shamrock, and it's just down the street from where I grew up. (I've never been there, though. Guess I should stop in one day.) It's always nice to find oneself at home, in a novel, isn't it?

So, has anyone else read them? LIked them? Obviously I like them, since I keep reading them, right?

I haven't read these. I have an affection for books that are set in locations familiar to me.
What with all my "wordly" moves I have a huge choice of books!!
