Kay, I'm looking for a good book for my mom for Christmas. She likes books about people, mysteries, but nothing too heavey. For her it's an easy escape from every day.
Any Suggestions?

NikkiT2 is on to a great start with the series "The Ladies No. 1 Detective" which is wonderfully light and entertaining.

Yeah, she read all the No.1 Lady Detective books. They are awesome!
