It's been a busy few months for me and I won't get into all the details, except to say that my son finally did deploy to the Middle East, which is the worst of all. I do have one bit of happy info to share that I thought this group could appreciate: I've started a part-time job at a bookstore! I'm still forming a mental game-plan on how to take advantage of my employee discounts without making a paying job a bad thing for me and my family. Needless to say, there'll be plenty of books and calendars under the Christmas tree this year.
