I'm really down and need something to read that is funny and entertaining. I like Kinky Friedman, The Onion, Dilbert, and some chick lit. Usually, I've read dark, meaningful books fraught with high drama and "Storm und Drang." Right now, my poor fragile self can't take that anymore!
Any suggestions??!

How about Augustan Burroughs's "Running With Scissors"? It's funny and terrible. The first book my son actually enjoyed.
