Has anyone seen this movie? I think it's my new favorite movie. It is supposedly based on real life.

I saw it last year, and liked it a great deal. Tragic, but well done. And yes, based on real events, although I'm not sure each character is based on a real person. The Magdalene institutions were very real, and went on far, far too long.
There are several books about them, although I haven't read any -- yet. They're on my list, though.
