As always, late to the starting gate, and actually going bass akwards, but I loved "The Well of Lost Plots" and am galloping through "The Eyre Affair". This is the kind of book I *love*. Funny, witty, all the good stuff in one place.
Does anyone else get crushes on authors like I do? It's embarassing, yet who could not admire such talent?

Just go meet him in the flesh.. he's not the most handsome of men.. but there is a certains omething that makes a lady swoon *G*
I've met him a couple of times now, and he always takes wonderful time out for his fans.. he is just so lovely! And that brain.. such a brain!
I want to re-read An Eyre Affair (now that I've finally read Jane Eyre!) but its stored safely at mother in laws as all our Jasper books are signed by him.. (he even signed one for J "I promise to pay the bearer of this book £5000" *LOL*)
jasper is a God.. he really truly is!! Roll, on the next Thursday Next book!!! (I do think I prefer them over the Nusery Crimes one..)
But you're reading them in the wrong order!! they must be read in the right order!! *laughing*

Only because I had a panic attack in the bookstore during my first book buying spree in ages and grabbed what was in front of me... I think I've become too used to shopping for my books online!!

at least 5 times a day. One of my friends is being posted to the UK on a temporary assignment and is trying to work it all in with the Ffordefest. I'm so jealous.
