There are very few books that speak to me over and over again, yet differently each time. But I find that a few whisper new things, new insights or even new chuckles as I reread them. One of those books is "A Shining Affliction" -- which touches my soul profoundly. This time through I saw how much she longed for a mother's love, which wasn't the main thread I was seeing the last time I read it. Of course, that is exactly where I am right now.
I'm curious about others experiences like this. Do you have a book that you "hear" completely differently every time you read it?
This is the end of the thread.
