I'm reading "Slaves of Obsession" right now, and -- as always -- liking it. Not "loving" it, but liking it. I always like her books.

As I recall, she was a Brit who moved to NZ, then moved back...

but on that line of thinking... I think that means the Aussies get to have Russell Crowe (Born in Aussie).
