OK, its for anyone else too.. but dedicated to them!
A trilogy of childrens magical realism.. I'm biased as I adore Isabel Allende anyway, and these aren't her at her best.. but her recent chhildrens trilogy were really quite lovely in my opinion (though my brother in laws reading group only marked the first one 2/10!)
The first is "City of Beasts", and then "Kingdom of the Golden Dragon" and finishes with "Forest of Pygmies"
They're escapism.. and I adore magical realism as a genre anyway..
So, while she's not at her best, these books are still enjoyable!
