And the best thing in it was the reissue of Deb Menz's "Color in Spinning" -- just the most wonderfullest book! I'm so thrilled!
(Raise your hand: how many here will be going out to buy this one? *g*)
Then there's "The Body Image Workbook", which both my N and my new-still-probationary-T urged me to buy; and "The Body Project", because I read another of J.J.Brumberg's books and enjoyed it; and "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" because everyone who's read it seems to be impressed, so I gotta find out what it's all about; and "Appetites: Why Women Want," which seems to be very well respected by those who read it; and "Journey to the Ants" -- mostly because it's cheaper than buying "The Ants" which is what I really wanted ;-)
The next box will contain "Conversations with Anorexics" and I'll be happy to get it.
Who's next? Surely I can't be the only one buying books this week?

"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time" right now. Loving it, which probably shows, since I didn't pick it up until after reading the Sunday paper yesterday afternoon, and am halfway through now. Thanks to PC who endorsed it.
Next, though, I'm not sure... I have too many right now, so I better get on reading some of them.
And, Nikki, are you suggesting that you didn't covet "Color in Spinning?"

I haven't read the curious incident yet, I'll have to get it.
Let's see -- I found a boxed set of "His Dark Materials" in a used book store for $12 -- BRAND NEW! I don't know who gets it yet. I picked up Jonathan Kellerman's new book too... oh, and I also found Michael Kelly's "Things Worth fighting For" on the reduced table.
My book club is reading "A Venetian Affair" which is pretty good.
I wish I had to summer off to just read all day. It would solve so many problems. :(
This is the end of the thread.
