I mean, I guess it depends on how the book is bound...

Yeah. Sometimes whole sections fall out, even with stitched books. Perfect-bound (like a pad of scratch paper) are the worst.
I want to take a bookbinding class, because I'd like to repair some books I have and I'd like to bind some of my own manuscripts & web-prints in something other than 3-ring notebooks or those stupid Duo-Tang thingies.

It would be interesting to know more about book binding.
I just love books :-)
I do think we will be missing something when they go and people read them off their laptops instead...
