Yea I checked out the website last night. I passed the "secrets" puzzle, not like it was hard or anything but fun all the same. I can't wait for his next book on freemasons, I've always been a sucker for secret society conspiracies. I believe those freemasons have a lot to answer for, like the murder of J.F.K. for a start.
"Among the many parallels and co-incidences that are widely and often commented on between John F. Kennedy's and Abraham Lincoln's Presidency and Assassination are the following points that have been overlooked:
1. Both assassinations involve an elaborate conspiracy which implicates many prominent men, most of whom who turn out to have 'met on the level and parted on the square'(freemasons).
2. Both assasinated Presidents are not Freemasons.
3. Both assasinated Presidents are replaced by Vice-Presidents who are Freemasons."
They're a sinister bunch, pulling strings at the highest level of government for there own gain. I hope Dan's not a freemason himself or the book will just be one sided propaganda on the "innocence" of the invisible empire. I'm sure they'll get to him anyway before the book is released, a friendly little warning if you know what I mean!!!
"Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."

So many people keep telling me how good this book is.. but it has been SO hyped up that it put me off reading it..
But.. in life there are a few people I know that if they like a book, its pretty garuanteed I will too.. and if PC likes it.. well, I guess I will too.
So, I've just sent the man of the house out to buy it for me *L* I've also told him to buy sticky backed brown paper so I can cover it up and no one need know I am reading it
*giggles*
My name is Nikki, and I am a book snob *L*

I got Angels & Demons by Dan Brown, I think it was the book before Da Vinci Code. I'm about 40 pages in and I love it. I have to warn you it's so much like the Da Vinci Code it's unreal but *is that a bad thing???*. So far I can say "get it", I'll keep you posted, that is if you haven't already read it!!!

Lol, nothing wrong with being a book snob NikkiT2, but when everybody keeps telling you how good something is then it's best to put the ego aside for a while and try it out for yourself. It may not be your thing, but it just may be, only one way to find out. I'm glad you're giving it a go. Enjoy...

I just finished Angels and Demons, and last year I read Da Vinci Code. I have a lot of hot questions that I could post on PBF, but I would probably get blocked, so here's one for you.
Do you think there really are religions that supress truth and science? That is such a foreign thought to me because in mine truth and science and religion are one and very transparent. we balance one against the other and so far haven't upset the scale. There aren't as many conflicts between evolution, science, and religion as some might think. There is no miracle that doesn't follow some kind of natural law. Even when Jesus turned the water into wine, he knew matter and how to make it. Sort of like how we know how to make oxygen. Only, Jesus could command both element and energy and all things were obedient to him, except man. Well, there is at least one little difference in the evolution theory and religion to do with you and me. I don't see us evolving into anything yet and we've been around 7000 years.
The world evolved to the point where man could exist and survive, and then God placed a perfect speciman. (I hear Adam is the most handsome man who ever lived) At any rate, all of true science fits neatly into true religion, but not all religion fits neatly into science. "Angels and Demons" certainly has raised some questions, as has "Da Vinci code". Jesus lived 30 years before he began his "official" ministry. Why wouldn't he have married and had children? Seems logical to me. There is only one scripture verse that resonates he may have been, but one has to use a bit of imagination. http://scriptures.lds.org/query?words=d%26c+122%3A+6-8&search.x=20&search.y=2, but I'm probably the only one in the world who sees it that way.
This is the end of the thread.
