Was it NikkiT who recommended "The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency?" Whoever it was, thank you. I'm on book three now, "Morality for Beautiful Girls" which is a wonderful title, and the whole series is just so utterly charming that I really can't put them down!
Wonderful, and they now come with a Racer Recommends....

> Wonderful, and they now come with a Racer Recommends....Perhaps others have suggested them, too, but I first mentioned them in a list I posted in January on some books I've enjoyed reading. My gosh, these have been some of my favorites in the past year. I think it's so cool that a white guy can write with such a convincing voice as a black African woman! The books are so warm and full of life. I really love them.

We were at the side, in a row of 3, and he was the other person.. really nice guy.. and he obviously had good taste as he was at that play.. so we bought them! I've heard the first one. It was a refreshing change of pace for me, and an enjoyable one.
This is the end of the thread.
