NikkiT! Just got a package from Amazon!

Posted by Racer on January 12, 2005, at 22:38:28

You know what it's got inside it? My new cake pan!

Oh, whoops. That's not packing material, that's a stack of BOOKS!!!

Let's see, "The Reptile Room", "The Wide Window", "Raj", and "Fasting Girls". I just can't decide what to read first! I may wait to finish "The Body Betrayed" before I start, and I've also got "The Last Juror" sitting patiently by.

OH!!! And we were talking about a book in therapy today, and when I browsed the books table at Costco, they had it! So, I also have "Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking". Let's see if it actually helps me validate my emotions. Even if it doesn't, it should be interesting nonetheless...

And Amazon has that free shipping over a certain amount? I may be buying a workbook to help with the AN treatment, in which case I'll just have to buy more to get the free shipping deal. If so, I'm thinking of Temple Grandin's new book, "Animals in Translation". I've followed her work for years, and think it should be fascinating. I haven't read her first book, "Thinking in Pictures", but maybe I'll be buying both? Hm...

Guess I'll have to cancel everything else, and snuggle up to READ!!!

Whoopee!
