After all those fun recommendations *from* Nikki, now I can recommend something *to* Nikki! Whaaahooo!
"Pigs Don't Fly" by Mary Brown. It's a very, very silly book, and I recommend it highly for the literary equivalent of Marshmallow Fluff. (Or Marshmallow Creme, if that's what they sell where you live.)
There is at least one more book in the series, but I"m not sure how many all together, and forget the name of the second. Still, it's a very fun book. I giggled all the way through it. If you read it and have the same reaction, please let me know.
By the way, if anyone cares, I just finished a potato chip book, "The Second Chair", which I enjoyed a great deal -- it's set in San Francisco, with some action taking place within blocks of where I grew up -- and am now back to reading "Sabriel" at Nikki's recommendation. Loving it. I've also got a Serious Book sitting by, reading it now and again, in between fluff. It's "The Body Betrayed", about eating disorders -- wonder why I'd be reading that, huh? -- and seems pretty informative. Harder reading, though, especially with how I'm doing right now.
OK, done now...

That book looks fantastic!!
My Gran gave me some money for christmas, so I treated myself to one of those gorgeous Moleskine note books to keep as a "to read" list at one end, and a book diary at the other!
Anyway, I've just filled it in and "Pigs Don't Fly" is the first there!! *l* It does look hilarious and just my kind of book!
Problem is, I'm reading "Shogun" at the moment.. and I think I might be for a while *L* Also, "Belle De Jour", a diary of call girl came out today.. now, its even worse than a potato chip book *L* But.. I've been following her blog for most of this year (though she's given the blog up now), and I feel I ought to read the book.. and I'm intrigued to see how it differs from the blog.
But I think Pigs Don't Fly might need to be snuck in!! *g* I need a damned good giggle!
You're TOP!
