I decided I needed some fresh air today, and as there is no where nice around here to walk, I decided a trip to the book store was in order *grins*
I have this big fancy to read some Samuri warrior books at the moment *l* BUt not knowing what to buy, I decided to finally read "Shogun", so headed up to the large book store in Notting Hill to buy it.. When i got there I noticed Haruki Murakami has a new book out (hard back and too large for my hands at the moment though), but that also meant all his other books were in a buy 3 for price of 2 deal.. There's only 4 (plus new one) of is I haven't read yet, so bought 3 of them.. "South of the Border and West of the Sun", "After the Quake" (a non fiction book of his about the Kobe Earthquake), and "The Elephant vanishes".
The Japanese theme wasn't intentional, but never mind *L*Also, my Gran gave me some money, so I treated myself to a gorgeous Moleskine note book I've wanted for ages as a book book.. To keep track of the books I want to read, and also to make notes about the books as I read them (whether I enjoyed them etc!).. so a kind of book diary I guess!!
So thats my book update for this month!! I think they will keep me going for a while (though I may split the Murakami books up with others)!!
