10 years ago, a young woman named Alison was brutally raped, mutilated and left for dead along our coastline. She survived against all odds and made international headlines. I attended a pantry party for hew new house. She was abducted outside of this house.
Her book "I Have Life" is simple, factual yet deeply moving. She is a remarkable woman and things she wrote in this book will stay with me for life. I believe reading her book aided my first remission from depression.
