I hope you like it. It's been a long time since I read it. I used to really enjoy those edgy women writers. I liked her, and Tama Janowitz, and Emily Prager a lot. These days all the chick-lit seems a bit watered down. Blame Oprah?

I am excited about going to bed tonight to tuck into the book. I am always open to women authors.
I do like detective stories with and by women.

I've got the book and am reading the first story.

I also got: "Holidays on Ice" David Sedaris
and "The curious incident of the dog in the night-time" by mark haddon.
I am thrilled by all the books. The library gives such a short time to read that I now have to pick which one to read.

"Black Tickets"I thought that Jayne's writing is so original in her verbage and encapsulates an image in very few words. She sure is beautiful looking too.
Once I like an author I read everything they have written. I like getting in the groove of their words and rhythm.
What are you reading now?
Who is your favorite writer?
Do you write stories or poems?

sorry for not getting back to you about the book but thanks for giving me a second try.
