I loved it.. I really loved it. It ahd been reccomended to me by quite a few people, but the biblical aspect relaly put me off.. but I found it very very empowering.. the strength of the women in it blew me away..

I am slowly making every single female I know read it..

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Wow, I blew through this in 3 days. I am no student of biblical history, but I do understand that the story behind the story was even more interesting.

BTW our plans for the England trip are "solidifying". What would you think about planning to meet each other in your favourite pub or resturant?
I've got a trip to Bath, Cadbury World, and Stoke-on-Trent (for the Wedgewood - sigh - ), and if time, Chester, planned. I really wanted to show my husband the Roman roots in England, since we went to Italy in 2001. It gives you such a sense of the scope of the Roman empire to see Rome, and then i.e., the spa at Bath. We are getting exicted, and I am practicing my best "blend in" vocabulary. Don't even ask Bob what an anorak is.

I did some sight seeing on FRiday actually.. I went on the London Eye (awesome, fantastic, as long as you don't have a morbid fear of heights like I do *lol* about 2/3 of the way up I suddenly KNEW I was not going to survive the entire trip round!! *l* My friend got very worried as I suddenly sat down, went very white and started sweating *l*) and also to the Tower! the Crown Jewels have some AMAZING diamonds in them!!!

I really liked it, even though I eventually lost tracks of all the brothers, wives and neices etc. I admit I saw a rainbow coat most of the time, too!

Now I shall try to start "Oryx and Crake" by Margaret Atwood.

ps - I have emailed you at gmail.
