Dear rainyday, I have had so much fun reading Linda Barnes....I share these with my honey. We are very thankful for your suggestion and have been reading her series for a while. Thank you so much!

Why, thank you! I love sharing what I hve enjoyed with others. There are so many books out there, and so many badly written books. It's fun to have a good read that entertains and reminds of a particular place.
Take care,

I need a laugh. I have enjoyed Linda Barnes for both...."Hardware" was really top form for her.
I read at night and have to in order to sleep...I take lots of pills as well but my mind needs that distraction in order to shut down.
Thanks

Try Janet Evanovich - she's another great mystery writer. The first book of hers I read was "One for The Money" so I look for her stuff whenever it appears.
Did we talk about Patricia Cornwall? "Potters Field" is just one of her amazing books.
And for laughs, I like anything by Diane Mott Davidson. "Dying for Chocolate" was the one I started with.
And Lilian Jackson Braun writes all those "the Cat Who..." books. I read those in a day or less but I love them.
Let me know who your other favourites are!
