me too! i've read it over 4 times.. and i always forget how it ends.. the beauty of a faulty memory :) and the beauty of a wonderful novel.. of course, you do know they are making a film, right? will ferrell is playing the lead role. ignatius, is that the right spelling? i'd rather have billy bob thornton, but beggars can't be choosers, you know? i'm curious to see how the film turns out. i hope it doesn't let me down.... we'll see. you can find out more aobut the film at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0340054/

i'm still skeptical though...

I had heard about the movie but nothing firm. Will Ferrell? Well, I like him but had never thought of him being in the movie...I'll wait with bated breath.BBT would be my pick also. One of my testing methods for prospective dates is asking whether or not they have read "Confederancy of Dunces"...if not~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:-)<<

i thought that i would be top pick for this 'date'. i'm hurt! guess it'll have to be me and jai? i'm sure she's read the book anyway. and i'm positive octo has, as it seems we move on the same path, as odd as that is turning out (and delightful too!!)... thanks for asking me out emmy! :) i'll wear the fishnets and you'll be sorry... oh, and the funny hat, just like ignatius... ha, you'll be missing out dear...

What is going on around here. Are you flirting with fayeroe or Emmy? I take some time off and what happens. My sweetie, my buddy KK is stepping out on me???
I am slowly reading a mystery and not much else. But a good book is worth....
KK how could you be unfaithful????
I love Nancy Drew....you know that!
I could read from that or anyother book....oh my I am such a terrible reader....dysleckia...I can't even spell that....but it sounds like....What can I say. I miss you sweet person.

the date would consist of my adorers reading to me, or me reading to my adorers, or perhaps both. and i never read nancy drew though. is that bad? and jai, you must cook for us. all of us, whoever is invited. and we can get our hair done. and you can continue to read to me, while i'm getting my hair done. then, we can go to the park, where we will continue reading. and swing on the swing sets. perhaps put the books down while we have a contest to see who can swing higher? i assure you i will win. but, fayeroe may come in second i think. how does this sound so far? i'm not reading much currently, as i've been so busy with school. and this morning i completely slept through a group meeting. i awoke with enough time to make it if i skipped a shower, but i declined and went back to sleep. ha! fooled them! but, i do carry around with me, "tales of ordinary maddness" by bukowski in case i have a spare moment in between classes to read just a story. that's how i've been keeping sane lately, those spare moments. and giggling. oh yes, the giggling helps. thanks for the date, i'll await a final notice and invite from all interested parties, as the invitations are coming to a grinding halt at present. or perhaps i'm just not listening, as i don't have the time lately. i'll try to keep my ears open more..
