Harry Potter books are great. I've been entranced (almost literally) the last few days reading one after the other. I'm reading a chapter at a time for my son.
I can't wait for numbers 6 & 7! (I hate cliffhangers.)

I'm sooo pleased you're enjoying them Dinah!! I love it when people suddenly realise how great they are, and what awesome escapism they are!! *grins*
Tell me about waiting for 6 and 7.. I've been into them since book 2, and the waits for the next book are soo hard!! *lol* My brother is one of my favourite converts.. he was really adamant he would hate them, in an anti-establishment kind of way.. I still remember his gushing phone call when insomnia finally drove him to read the first one and he was hooked!!! *l* He even had his book 5 on preorder before I did!! I bought his 11 year old daughter her copy, yet he said he couldn't wait and have to share, so needed his own copy!!
Oh.. and when you've finished them and are recovered, try the "dark materials trilogy" by Phillip Pullman.. they're also awesome!!
