I finally read Middlesex!!!

After Bearded Lady's high reccomendation of "Middlesex" I read it during my trip... it was sooo good.. I was hooked and read all 500+ pages in a week (a 19 hour journey helped in that!!)... I can't reccomend it highly enough. The style of prose was easy to read and the story really got me gripped.

I then read "A child in time" by Ian Mcewan which I thoroughly enjoyed... and am now reading "The Virgin Suicides" by Jeffrey Euginides (same guy as wrote Middlesex) which is pretty good!!

Have "The Hours" (Micheal Cunningham) and "Enduring love" (Ian McEwan) to read next...

All of which sound really good, Nikki!

Right now, I'm reading a bit in several books, including "The Red Notebook" by Paul Auster, "Uniforms: Why We Are What We Wear"
by Paul Fussell, and some short stories.

AND, I am in the middle of "A Wizard of Earthsea (Earthsea Trilogy, Book 1)"
by Ursula K. Le Guin.I am definitely not a fantasy book kind of reader, but a young relative is reading it for school and it intrigued me so I took it out of the library. I am actually enjoying it a lot!

I also keep meaning to get around to reading "The Corrections: A Novel" by Jonathan Franzen.
