OK, so I know its not even been voted on, but seeing as I was doing an amazon order, and had to get it above £39 to get free shipping, I ordered it...

Had very bad day eysterday so wanted to los emyself in something... so I read
Mrs Frisby in one sitting today of 6 hours!!! I've just finished!!

I haven't really pondered or thought about it yet, but WOW, what a lovely fantastic book.. I'll be posting it to my 11 year old neice as soon as I've re-read it!!!

I really enjoyed it!! I found it wonderfully descriptive, abd feel I knew every one of the characters. The images I found there are flying around my head!!!

I loved it!! Hope evryone else does!!! Anyone know how the movie matche sup as a friend has offered it to me!

Thanks for the reading suggestion!!

Nikki

Thanks for the heads-up review! One great thing about children's literature is that it usually doesn't take very long to read! :) I've got "The Cat in the Hat" in bilingual Spanish as well as English, and I have found that it acts as the best book relief possible for depression. Not only that, but it helps me refresh my Spanish I was taught previously. I have never had more fun in a class (High School or College), than a foreign language class. There was another children's book that my high school English teacher raved about back in 1975, I think it was "Amphigorey" or something like that. That had some interestingly fun black humour, especially "The Bug Book".

My copy came in too. Will start reading soon. (nm)
