Hi,
I'm not sure if it is appropriate for me to make a suggestion or not. However, I'd like to offer GOOD NIGHT, MR. TOM by Michelle Magorian. It is a story of child sent off to the country to avoid the horrors of London during WWII. I am kind of captured by this book and never read it until I was about 35 and was caught up in the story. I think you might enjoy it.
Is there a list that one should sign to participate?

I don't know about a "list", but I like your suggestion. I bought Stuart Little about a month ago, but it is too long :)Mitch
