Would anyone like to make a suggestion for September, or it it too early?

Well, I was wondering about a Faulkner novel, since we have been reading heavyweight American fiction from the 20th century lately. One I haven't read yet, but that seems interesting is "As I Lay Dying". I think it is about a wartime thing-not sure.

I thought this thread, above:

was about what to read next?

I know it says "August", but maybe that meant to be picked in August and to be discussed in September?

Oh, you *really* want to get ahead! :-) I think that would be fine, but shouldn't the next book get picked first, at least? The one to start discussing in September?

"Alexanders Terrible No Good Very Bad Day"?
mouse revisiting childhood

I have got one that is out of the blue---I am not entirely sure it is available yet. But it is a Studs Terkel book. I haven't read any of his stuff. It just struck me while reading a post on PSB, and I did some checking. It would fit in with the new faith board. Anyhow, here's a link:

Any thoughts or ideas?
