I read a book back in 1989 that was like a metaphysical novel. It was written in the first person, by a guy who could astral travel in his sleep. He wrote about the other world he visited in his travels, and how it is structured so that people are living harmonious spirit lives. One of the main things I remember about the book is that there was a central source for information: CI. You could ask it any question in the universe and it would have the answer.
I would like to read this book again, so if anyone could help me find it, I would be very grateful.

Sounds kind of like "In My Soul I Am Free" by Paul Twitchell.
