I've never read Hemingway...can you tell me a bit about it?

I hated it and Hemingway in general in college. I'm curious whether I'd feel the same way years later. If I did I wouldn't mind an opportunity to rip it apart using what I've learned in the years since.

I read my first full-length Hemingway last year, The Sun Also Rises. After closing the book I turned to the first page and read it thru again, I was so in awe, and knew I'd "missed" so much I wanted to take in everything I possibly could. The characters were so real to me I still think of them from time to time, wondering how they're getting along.
