I just learned that the British satirist
Spike Milligan died, "the father of alternative
comedy" - he was great.He also suffered from depression all his life.

He was bi-polar and totally amazing... he was truly one of my great heroes who I hd the huge pleasure to meet once.. only briefly and I got my book by him signed!!
He went a long way to opening up manic depression in the UK... showing it wsn't a bad thing...
He was 84 though.. *shocked* I can't believe he was that old!
