The past several week have been rocky ups and downs. I've only just started posting and using the chat function and was wondering to myself if it was helpful.
I went to the bookshelf and got my *kachoo* dusty copy of Owen Meany. I've picked up an old friend off the shelf and I was wondering if this site provided help. ; )

I just looked at the beginning excerpts online-I haven't went and got my copy yet. We are supposed to allow a couple of weeks yet I think for those ordering and waiting on their books. Irving can be so funny (like Vonnegut). I must admit that the black humorists are my favorites (of those I have read). I am not sure why, but it seems that Irving novels seem most appropriate to read in the Springtime.
