BTW did you hear the one about the University commencement speech he gave where his sole advice to the graduates was to wear sunscreen?
And how bout this one, when asked in a Paris Review interview what was the hardest thing he ever wrote he replied a note to his kids teacher explaining an absence-that he wrote and crumpled paper after paper til his wife stepped in and said for godssake give me the dadblasted pencil!

oooh.. hubby has loads of KV on our book shelves.. never got round to reading any though!!
Went mad on amazon... bought 12 books for my holiday to thailand!! *l* Think thats slightly toooo many though!!! Could be some time before i work my way back to the book shelves!!
