We were but the advantage of the poll system is that it is easier to keep a clean tally.

I wrote about this in "voting process" above. I don't want to step on toes--sorry. We don't have to use the poll--I just thought it is worth trying.

You aren't stepping on my toes dear, so there's no need to apologize...I think the poll is good too., it's just that I'm not sure everyone will go there again, after the other post/vote.

I created a database with all the members so far that have voted-and their choice, and add to it each time it's updated, and can keep track of it easier in my opinion because I don't have to log in to Yahoo to check it each time....

For what it's worth - it's a good idea - i just
voted - not sure if it has to be announced;
so far it looks like a dead heat.

How do I join to vote???

This Yahoo thing confuses me. Everytime I click on that link to the poll, I get a message that says:

"Oops...you are not a member of this group"

I tried "joining" three times, but it didn't work.

?

Sarah

OK! Yahoo finally let me join...I voted... (nm)

I agree that the poll is worth trying. I like the fact that you can go back and change your vote. But I'm not sure we really need all the features the poll offers. I don't think we are going to have such high volume that tabulating votes will be a problem and I don't know that we need the anonymity of the poll. I liked having a voting thread where everyones vote was public. I'd like to know how other people feel about that. Any comments?

I agree with what you said jane...that's exactly how I feel, but you put it into words for me...I like the interaction, not having to go another site, logging in to yahoo, etc...

I also like being able to scan a thread and know by looking how ppl are voting and can add comments, etc...

Just my thoughts-

Kiddo

That is fine with me, too.
