I took my first capsule of 120mg last night with my dinner. Effects were present about 45min afterward. I felt overwhelmingly spaced-out, traquilized and noticed my hands were unusually steady. Similar to the effects of alcohol but without euphoria. No mood improvement.
How many days until I notice any mood improvement if i take 120mg with each meal? Should I increase the dose?

I took magnesium taurate a couple years ago and it didn't do anything for my brain. There's a new form of magnesium called magnesium l-threonate. It's only been available since last year. It's far better at crossing the blood-brain barrier than any other form of magnesium -- even IV magnesium. I started taking it recently and I can really feel it in my brain, something that's never happened with any of the other forms of magnesium I've tried. Here's an article about it.
