Rosemarinic acid

Posted by linkadge on July 24, 2011, at 19:24:01

The herbs rosemarry and lemon balm contain rosmarinic acid which is a potent inhibitor of gaba transaminase, an enzyme which breaks down gaba. GABA-T inhibitors have been shown to increase synaptic gaba and reduce anxiety / epileptic discharges.

The herb rosemarry might be a good soure, I found it helped with anxiety.
