Hi all: I am hopelessly addicted to caffeine now and when I try to reduce I get very lethargic. There is so much info out there, and I can't afford to buy everything I've looked into. What's good and not a fortune? Red ginseng? Siberian ginseng? Something else? Any particular brand or preparation? Thanks in advance.

I would love to know floating. I drink at least a pot a day if not more. Without coffee I'm a mess. Migraines and such. I tried L tyrosine but it made me really speedy and manic feeling. In fact I think it pushed my hypomanic spell over the edge into a mixed episode with paranoia and such. So be careful with tyrosine. I might check gensing and see how it works.
If I could get off coffee, diet soda and tabaco I'd be a Buddha!

I used to drink lots of coffee only teas now. I just cut down and got headaches and treated with motrin for a few days. How does it relate to adrenal fatigue. I had a blood test on my cortisol and was told it was low and not high. No idea what this means? Why not just cut down slowly? Phillipa
