My friend takes 7.5 mg of Vicodin every day. Is there any alternative (amino acids, vitamins, minerals etc.) she could take instead? She was on Zoloft for a while but it didn't do much for her. She says the Vicodin gives her more energy and motivation and helps with her mood. Any suggestions oh wise Dr-Bobbers?
Thank you so much!
Liz

BTW, I used to post as LizinManhattan. I just couldn't seem to get access with that name anymore so I started this new account because I would love to help my friend.

Not really, I don't think.
DLPA?
Withania?
Exercise, like climbing a mountain before breakfast. You wouldn't take up an SSRI to give up Vicodin at 7.5/d.
Better just to halve your dose.

Rhodiola?
It's said to increase levels of beta endorphin, the exercise sort, but it wrecked my sleep even though I otherwise liked it.
Ditto cordycepsChinese herbalism?
