Does Milk Thistle Affect Alcohol Dehydrogenase?

Would anyone know if it affects this enzyme and thus the body's ability to metabolize ethanol?

I know of no substance that improves the body's ability to metabolize alcohol. Milk thistle helps reduce the toxic effects of chronic alcohol consumption, but that's got nothing to do with alcohol dehydrogenase activity.

BTW I had a truck total my car by running into the back of my car at the red lights.. so I'm pretty sore and sorry for myself at present... all over, especially my brain and head

Molybdenum is a cofactor in the production of aldehyde dehydrogenase. If people have alcohol intolerance, molybdenum usually helps.
