howto take the most magnesium possible w/o sidefx?

diarrhea seems to be the big problem. it doesn't absorb well in the small intestine then makes it to the large intestine and causes diarrhea? i know there are ones thought to be more absorbable, but there isn't much concrete on which ones, apart from scattered opinions that you don't know whether to believe. i gather citrate is better than oxide, and that is clear. but beyond that? what could be the best? it seems to be implied that malate and glycinate are also better than oxide, but again not much concrete on what's better. glycinate is interesting as it may be helpful in its own right for NMDA regulation, or maybe be not good at all, with it being like that cycloserine chemical with agonism and antagonism depending on environment. (like abilify had a baby with some anticonvuslant or taurine, i don't know.) a something-lactate version in "mag-tab sr", is also sustained release. i don't know which type is best, and making an ideal situation becomes important when diarrhea starts to come intermittently.

are there other things to take along with other than calcium, when calcium seems to be a, or the, problem factor relative to what you are trying to accomplish?

i suppose i could take acidophilus to remove a factor in diarrhea, but i don't really refrigerate what i carry around haphazardly so i would be worried about die off, and it isn't dealing with diarhhea very directly.

are there things that help magnesium abosbtion from the small intestine, so it doesn't make its way into large intestine to cause diarrhea.

i really want to take a lot of magnesium. i always try to consider 4x day dosing in a pill box, but it is so hard to do with my functionning.

the issue is also brands, as well, with magnesium it seems. you seem to need to be surer of things when the brands are more obscure, unlike now foods, natural factors, etc.

hello world. (nm)

I heard that the malate and glycinate were best for someone like me (something to do with my Krebs cycle? I forget).

I take the citrate. Better off avoiding the oxide.

too much magnesium may deplete neurotransmitters (norepinephrine at least) and lead feeling down or out of it.
