I'd never heard of zizyphus before. It sounds like an interesting herb.
Google did throw up this interesting concoction, although it seems its only available in Australia. I wonder if tealady has tried it? Jan?

Anyone else thing it looks like an interesting mix?

Vervain is interesting, as is schizandra.
Zizyphus is supposed to be good for your complexion. High dose herb. Very natural feel.
The sort of thing you feel safe giving to your kids the night before exams.

No votes for kava? It's true that the half-life is about 8x shorter than Klonopin, but it does really work something like a benzo (esp. if you buy a high-quality brand like Gaia Herbs).
If you suspect the anticonvulsant aspect of Klonopin is part of why it's useful to you, maybe try Gotu Kola or vinpocetine. (Yes, I'm on a vinpo kick today).
I'm going to wildly speculate that some combination like vinpocetine + kava and/or skullcap might feel familiar to you. I say I'm speculating because I've taken clonazepam, and have significant experience with vinpo, skullcap and kava... but I've never taken any of the last three in combination. In the same day, yes, but not at once. Still, I think they'd have an effect that would add up to something like clonazepam. Skullcap seems to be long-acting, too.

I'd never heard of zizyphus before either TJ :-)
Sorry been really wiped lately, and Bob does his updates when I tried to post...
I like milk thistle and have liked Evening primrose oil, and a selection of herbal teas, but I'm not very knowledgeable about most herbs.
Declan is way ahead of me here.
Heck I couldn't even import the herbal teas I wanted to from twinings in England into Australia due to quarantine restrictions!..
Does look interesting though
