I've started royal jelly about a week ago. I read some posts of Jimmyboy, which reminded that I wanted to give it a try.
I am noticing some definate anti-anhedonic effects.
I've been finishing my work a lot faster, as well as noticing some definate brighening of colors.
Seems to go well with o3.

The stuff's expensive, but as soon as I can spare the cash, I'd like to go for it myself. The most vivacious, perpetually enthused and amused, tastefully glamourous, fit-n-slim, and lively 70 year old I ever met in my life took it for years and swore by it. Yes, I admit I'd like to be just like her! She also was a fan of spirulina and fish oil-but royal jelly was her tops.
Linkdage, I'm amazed at how quickly are you feeling the difference, and may I ask, how much are you taking, what form, any particular brand? I had some idea it was a supplement one had to take for a long time before reaping benefits. I thought it was for longevity and energy- didn't know it also helped with ahedonia. What's o3? Sorry for so many questions. Thanks, I appreciate your input.
Bummer the lady I knew moved to Baja, for that's one of her favorite hiking locales. She likes Nepal, too- but not since the political troubles. We sadly lost touch, so I can't ask her.

o3 = omega-3
The stuff I got was dirt cheap. 500mg caps standardized to 3.5% 10-HDA. No name brand 60 caps/ $6 canadian.
I did notice increased energy in about a week.
It may be contributing to insomnia.
But, if you can afford it I'd say its worth a shot. I have tried dozens of supplements that do little to nothing, so I am not all placebo effect.

Dirt cheap, indeed! Maybe I better take another look around. The royal jelly I've seen has always been some 20$US and way up for 30 tabs- but I haven't looked in a really long time. Meanwhile, similar sounding products, like pollen, etc, have been much cheaper. Maybe it would be worth taking another look now, judging from what you report- and perhaps it's cheaper in a jar rather than as tablets. Thanks for the tip!ps- o3- thanks for explanation.
