Anyone have any knowledge regarding glycine (l-glycine) for mania associated with bipolar disorder?

I'd like to know. Its supposedly good for schizophrenia. I'd like to try a combination of glycine and taurine.

Hey Link,
i've tried taurine and it definately helped.. It gave me some bad insomnia though.. I have a hunch through lookin at the research that taurine may act through glycine-receptors, besides other things... so I wonder if they are somewhat related...
I'm going to try glycine, I'll let u know how it goes..
