Hi to all,
I proposed the same post few years ago. This becuase every time i use Flavonoids, I've noticed a significant improvement in my mood situation, more energy and better clear mind.
I specific am taking since last month a supplement based on flavonoids(diosmine and esperidine) for blood circulatory disease.
These effects seem to appear at relative high dosage (3000 mg/d) and seem to permane during all the period of assumption.
Could these effects depend on flavonoids? Or more probably they are no correlated?
I did not foud out anything about flavonoids and mood disorders/depression on the net.
Could anyone share a similar experience?
Thanks for your help!
Bye
Eve

Hi EveYes I agree that there is something about flavonoids and depression. Some forum users have talked about good results with blueberries which are stacked high with flavonoids.
Cheers kiwi

YES! See the above thread - "a new experience happiness" where I point out the success I have had from another flavanoid Quercetin, and the role of inflammation/prostaglandins in mood disorders.
You are right about the high doses... seems you need to really max them out to get the effects, can be quite a pain some days
I'd be interested to try the ones you have mentioned...

Yes, I've noticed this. Actually I've become overstimulated on flavonoids before, so I'm a bit careful with them.
I believe many flavonoids work as MAO inhibitors which is how many old antidepressants worked.
I'm currently trying to drink more grape juice and red wine to get my resveratrol.
This is the end of the thread.
