Has anyone tried N-Acetyl-Cysteine?
I am curious if it has any cognitive effects.

Yep.
L-carnitine and a couple of slightly differnt forms. (I can look at the bottle if you like)It really works for my energy and mood level and I have had very little success with supplements to improve energy.
I am impressed with it.Peace,
Kaye
