Ages back there was some discussion about a herb that was supposed to reduce alcohol craving. I think it grew in someone's yard.
Anyone remember what it is?
I know taurine is supposed to be useful.

These Herbs may Reduce the Craving for Alcohol
Chinese Red Sage may reduce the craving for Alcohol.
Hops may reduce the craving for Alcohol.
Kudzu may reduce the craving for Alcohol and may therefore be of potential benefit to Alcoholics attempting to reduce their Alcohol consumption:
Isoflavonoids in Kudzu may reduce voluntary Alcohol ingestion by influencing areas of the Central Nervous System that control the desire for Alcohol.
Saint John’s Wort may help to reduce the craving for Alcohol and may therefore be of potential benefit to Alcoholics attempting to reduce their Alcohol consumption.
Stevia (tea) is claimed to reduce the craving for Alcohol (according to anecdotal reports).
