there seem to be multiple brands that go by the name neuromins? which ones would be the most reliable and also accessible (i live in ottawa canada, but might consider dealing with a non-sketchy online dealer). i need a proper balance containing DHA and... EPA was it? whichever other omega 3s are important. if neuromins are only DHA, i dont mind supplementing with flaxseed oil or whatever else (JUST NOT FISH OIL :P )
xo thanx

> xo thanxEPA is only found in animal products. You may be thinking of ALA, which is converted to both EPA and DHA. Some people can't convert ALA from flax seed, so for them fish oil or other animal source is the only way. You may want to research vegan sources for how often that affects people or other wrinkles to the whole question.
Looks like Neuromins is the brand name, licensed for distribution to certain companies:
Natrol, Inc.
Nature's Way
Nutraceutical Corporation (Solaray®)
Solgar Vitamin and Herb Company
Source Naturals®
Swanson Health Products
Vitamin Shoppe Industries, Inc.http://www.martekbio.com/Nutritional_Products/Distributors_Of_Neuromins_DHA.asp
I would guess that it's part of their agreement that they don't screw with the formula when they put their own label on it, so any one of those should be ok, imo. Vitamin Shoppe and iherb ship internationally if you can't find these brands locally.
There are some restrictions, see: http://www.iherb.com/othercountries.html
