I know that ginkgo and SJW have some intrinsic 5-ht1a agonistic properties, but for one reason or another, I have many problems with these.
Are there any other herbs that anyone knows of that have 5-ht1a agonistic properties ??
Thanks

In reply to about 5-ht1a agonists... again., posted by linkadge on April 3, 2005, at 11:43:20
I may have mentioned this before, but Kava was shown in a few studies to have 1a agonist actions. I don't know if this is relevant to the way it makes ya feel though. Other than that, I can't think of anything.
One herb you might want to look into it, Linkadge, that you may not have come across, is the herb Kanna aka Sceletium Tortuosum. Check out: http://www.herbalsmokestore.com/kanna.htm for more info. It has SSRI like properties.
